Medomak Retreat Center is pleased to be offering an Outdoor Skills Retreat August 3rd through 9th focusing on reconnecting individuals with authentic outdoor skills that our ancestors practiced . Participants will have the opportunity to learn different outdoor skills in a fun and relaxing environment. Whether you’re a seasoned hunter, fisherman, backpacker or you’re a city-slicker that would like to feel more comfortable in the outdoors this retreat is for you!

Located on a pristine lake and surrounded by hundreds of acres of forest Medomak creates a superb place to learn these skills by action. This combined with cabin accommodations and three chef prepared meals a day creates a great environment for a hands-on outdoor skills retreat.
This is an educational week but we also want you to have time to enjoy the recreation our location has to offer.

A variety of skills that compliment each other such as wilderness survival, tracking, forest ecology, canoeing, wilderness safety, navigation and primitive skills will be covered during the week. It enables participants the ability to be safe and comfortable in the outdoors, no matter the activity, after learning outdoor skills and a survival knowledge base. That's why it's a perfect retreat no matter what your outdoor activity of choice is, it applies to everyone.

*Families are welcome; however, due to the skill level we recommend this program for ages 12 and up. Children, 5 and older, and spouses are welcome to partake in our family camp activities. For more information go to: www.medomakcamp.com or call us for more details 866-MEDOMAK (866-663-6625).
